Working conditions and gender equality in the economy

COTREFH
This project proposes to examine the impact of working conditions on gender equality at work. In particular, the researchers wish to explore two aspects of working conditions that are important for gender equality at work: sexual harassment and characteristics of the temporal and physical organization of work. These two lines of research will be explored separately as well as jointly. The researchers plan to explore several avenues: How does the experience of sexual harassment at work affect women's careers? To what types of companies, sectors, and occupations do women who have experienced sexual harassment at work tend to work for afterwards? Do more flexible and balanced working conditions encourage women to return to work after a period of part-time work, often linked to the arrival of a child?
