The Industrial Contract for Training through Research (CIFRE) enables companies to receive financial aid to recruit young doctoral students whose research projects, carried out in conjunction with an external laboratory, will lead to their defense of a thesis. CIFREs therefore involve three partners: a company that entrusts a doctoral student with research work which is the subject of their thesis, a laboratory outside of the company which provides scientific supervision of the doctoral student, and a doctoral student who holds a Master's degree or equivalent. The CIFRE administrative source thus brings together information on the various partners involved in this agreement. It provides information on the doctoral student, the doctoral establishment, the scientific discipline, information on the hiring company (address, company name, number of employees) and information on the thesis (subject, date of defense, etc.).
