The Student Monitoring Information System (SISE) for Enrolments records all enrolments completed on 15th January of year N in the various higher education establishments. It concerns registrations taken into account for year N-1 and year N. Each enrolment is related to a student identified by their INE number, to a degree identified by its SISE code and to a location identified by its UAI-RNE number. The purpose of this data collection is to obtain information on the number of students and their socio-demographic characteristics; to study the course of study in public and private higher education establishments; and to study migration and educational origins. SISE Enrolments Enq26bis mainly concerns establishments that responded to the previous 26 survey, as well as certain new schools (excluding engineers, large establishments, business schools, ENS and similar). The scope of SISE Enq26bis is more diverse than that of the other SISE surveys (higher education institutions not attached to universities and outside the scope of the other SISE surveys).
