Summary of activities by operation and geographical area - Credit Institutions data (the SURFI SITUATION) table is a summary document, common to all reporting institutions, which traces their activity on a corporate basis and according to French accounting standards, by category of operations and by geographical area, including operations carried out by foreign branches. It is supplemented, where appropriate, by other tables which provide more detailed breakdowns of certain items. Amounts relating to items in the SITUATION (balance sheet) table are recorded net of depreciation and amortization, with the exception of lines relating to doubtful receivables, which are recorded gross.
