The tax and social incomes survey provides information on the types of income the household receives, such as individual income, income that cannot be individualised, and taxes paid by the household. Income is analysed according to the usual socio-demographic criteria and measures people's standard of living (equalised household income) and poverty. It replaces since 2005 the tax income survey (ERF).
