This project analyzes the impact of insolvency proceedings on the French productive fabric, distinguishing between industrial firms, service providers, and agriculture holdings. Its originality lies in the use of complete commercial court rulings —an unexplored source—combined with administrative and tax data. The project has two main objectives: to understand how judicial practices have evolved, and to assess their concrete economic and social effects through indicators such as firm survival, employment, investment, liquidity and innovation. The methodology relies on Cox models and local projections, controlling for sectoral and spatial characteristics. For agriculture, the analysis integrates balance sheet data, CAP subsidies, and climate indicators. The expected results aim to inform public policy decisions on the prevention and management of bankruptcies.
