Quantitative study of the « Identificaton of skills needs » program of the region Centre Val-de-Loire

To what extent does a better understanding of company skills requirements at the level of the employment zone enable public purchasers to better target training purchases and, ultimately, improve employment? The aim of this project is to operationally address the issue of the (mis)match between workers' qualifications and companies' skill requirements ('skills mismatch'). To do this, we will investigate the implementation of a two-dimensional program in the Centre - Val de Loire region. On the one hand, measures rolled out in companies to facilitate identification of their skills needs; on the other hand, a platform created to better guide investment in training, notably by aggregating the information available in administrative databases, as well as information collected from companies.
