EAL : Annual survey on milk

The Annual Milk Survey concerns companies that collect cow's milk (at least 1,800 hectoliters during the year), goat's milk or sheep's milk, as well as all companies manufacturing dairy products (excluding farms). It provides an exhaustive field and a detailed classification of the final collection and production figures for the industry, as well as the results of production sold according to a European classification known as PRODCOM for companies with 20 employees or more. The companies must indicate the quantities manufactured and, for those with at least 20 employees, the quantities sold as well as the total value of their sales. The survey also includes a section on organic farming (collection and manufacturing) and a section on raw milk cheeses.
