The ‘Prométhée’ SNDS health data warehouse reached a decisive milestone on March 26th, receiving authorization from the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).
The Prométhée warehouse aggregates data from the National Health Data System (SNDS), including Health Insurance databases (SNIIRAM) and hospital data (PMSI/ATIH). Its objective is to facilitate complex longitudinal studies by eliminating the need for multiple, one-off access request procedures.
As a certified health data host (HDS and ISO 27001), CASD provides the technological infrastructure required to host projects led by a wide range of stakeholders (institutions, public bodies, learned societies, academic researchers, and healthcare industry players). It will also enable the four founding companies (Epimentis, Horiana, RCTs, and Stève Consultants) to conduct their own research projects.
