As part of verifying its compliance with the requirements of its security policy, which is based on ISO security and data protection standards, CASD will be organizing a series of visits to hosting sites in the coming months.
The use of SD-Boxes is governed by security measures formalized in the contracts binding CASD to users and their organizations (Contract for a secure data access service (hosting and/or funding, known as “HEBFI”) and General Terms of Use).
As such, the “HEBFI” contracts set out the conditions under which CASD may carry out on-site visits to verify the physical and IT hosting conditions of the SD-Boxes by access point hosts.
The objective is to verify compliance with the requirements set out in the contractual documents mentioned above, in particular:
- The location of SD-Box units within the premises
- The positioning of the display when SD-Box units are used by Users (orientation/visibility/filter)
- The integrity of the SD-Box units
