Our project focuses on the effects of international trade and technology (especially new digital technologies) on the dynamics and performance of companies and on the dynamics of wages, productivity and innovation in the French economy in recent times. This project builds on our previous work which focused more specifically on the effects of automation on employment and wages within companies adopting these new technologies (Domini et al. 2021a, 2021b). We complmeent our previous analises with work that seeks to integrate new dimensions: i) the institutional dimension by studying the role of co-management on company results; ii) the environmental dimension and finally iii) the macroeconomic effects of French firms' activity in international markets.
