Presentation of business data by INSEE

The first presentation session of INSEE Entreprises data (in particular FARE FICUS data), led by the data producers themselves, took place on Friday 11 March 2022.

More than 130 researchers and data users (current and future) were able to attend this session, which was held both in person at INSEE’s premises and by videoconference.

Over the years, 320 projects have been able to access this much-appreciated company data via the CASD.

We would like to thank INSEE for agreeing to host this session, which proved to be very rich. The audience was particularly interested and dynamic: nearly 80 questions were asked during this session (i.e. about one every two minutes!), all of which were answered live.

In response to questions from users and with the aim of facilitating the appropriation of data, the CASD is also considering setting up a forum for the exchange of information on the use of data, and it is in particular within the framework of this reflection that the project for sharing codes with users was born.

It allows users who wish to do so to make available to other users the codes they may have created when using the CASD data.

If you are interested in this approach, or would like to attend one of the upcoming data presentation sessions, or have any requests in this regard, please do not hesitate to contact us.
