Effects of long term recessions

RECESLT
The goal of this project is to investigate the local effects of recessions on (i) workers and (ii) firms. A special focus is put on the persistence of these effects and on how they have changed over time. We want to shed light on the mechanism through which persistence is generated. Our analysis relies on a local labour market approach and makes use of detailed firm information to identify comparable firms.
