The All Employees Panel has been tracking employees since 1976. Up to and including 2001, the sample size was approximately 1/24th, based on individuals born in October of an even-numbered year. From 2002 onwards, the sample has been doubled.
This panel results from the concatenation of the former DADS panel (private-sector employees, hospital civil servants and local civil servants) and panel data on government employees. From now on, a single panel called "All employees" covers the fields of the former DADS panel and government employees. It is possible to work on a constant scope basis from 1988 onwards, provided that you filter out the positions of employees of individual employers, who were not included in the panel until 2009.
